Sisters Alodia and Ashley Gosiengfiao represented Team Philippines in the recent Anime Festival Asia (AFA) 2009 held in Suntec Convention Center, Singapore. The sisters performed a short skit in their Witchblade cosplay with Alodia as Amaha Masane and Ashley as Shiori Tsuzuki.
International-Filipina Cosplayer or should I say "The Cosplay Goddess" Alodia Gosiengfiao have another appearance on a popular game blog Kotaku and this time, Alodia answers some of the questions about Cosplay and everything under the sun. On that article, some of the questions were already answered by Alodia from the past mini fans day and events here in the Philippines but as I've read the whole article, every little answers of her makes a unique meaning. On the end note, some may called cosplay/cosplaying a weird thing to do but for some enthusiasts like me it's a self-confidence booster that when you're portraying an anime or a game character, you feel like you have the power or should I say guts just like the character that you're portraying. It's not new to my senses that Alodia Gosiengfiao endorses a game but this time, she endorses a Philippine-made Facebook game Alter Space, a game developed by AboitizPower (an energy power corporation) and it's not an ordinary game that you can actually play everyday. It's somewhat a concept of being an environmentalist, being aware on what's happening to our mother earth with a bit of Filipino traditional stuffs. On a specific concept of that game, it teaches the public on how to reduce their carbon footprint. Some game hint: "You will need to socialize or should I say to interact, the more friends you have, the bigger chance to finish it with a great mark!"

I've been looking on my news feed in Facebook and found a nice share that came from CSCentral fan page. It's the music video of DJ Myke's single Huling Araw (Last Day) featuring Alodia Gosiengfiao. I thought she was Katrina Halili on her look on that music video (peace Alodia) and stuck by 10 seconds. The concept of the video was ordinary and already saw that concept on some popular artists but frankly speaking, what's up with the voice doug! I really like the whole lyrics, the music arrangement and most especially Alodia Gosiengfiao as an artist of the music video. I was kinda worried that she can't surpass that but from start to finish, she was that good. That inspires me to do an original composition again.
For DJ Myke, you have a nice voice and really on the track. I'm looking for more exposure on this artist because of the voice quality. Well paging Party Pilipinas, ASAP and PO5, you need to consider this artist on your line up of singers. For Alodia, I'm really looking for more music videos this 2011 and I hope you consider some Jazz or Soul artist, sitting on a piano and making the most out of it.
One of my hobby is to watch television and finally saw the Globe Tattoo commercial of Alodia Gosiengfiao, subtitled as the "Cosplay Goddess". All of her best cosplay act were featured on that commercial and if the television on this era have a like button, I will dig it up as early as I can before the fans surpass me. Anyway, I will share the video here and really worth to watch. Also support Globe Tattoo campaign like we supported Alodia on her career as a cosplayer, a host, and an artist.
